Recently at IP Think Tank, we have discussed: Hidden value of hiding patents, IP & the war for talent, inventive patent attorneys and IP Business Congress reflections.

As always, the week ended with IP Think Tank's Global Week in Review - a look at the major intellectual property stories breaking on the internet and blogosphere for the week.

Please do come and join the ongoing conversation, either here at Gathering2.com or at IPThinkTank.

The hidden value of hiding patents looked at the value (and risks) involved in draft patents so that they harder to find in a freedom to operate search.  Some very valuable comments were made by readers.

IP and the war for talent  analysed a recent article by Deepak Somaya and Ian Williamson for the Sloan Management Review and took a look at some IP implications of the ongoing war for talent.

Inventive patent attorneys created quite a lively discussion about validity risks and associated ethical issues associated with arguably inventive subject matter conceived by patent attorneys while drafting patents for clients.

Conference reflections - IP Business Congress 2008 (Amsterdam) was a quick reflection on some of the outcomes of this great conference.
