Last week on IP Think Tank, we discussed: Daiichi's bid for Ranbaxy, opaque patent expiry dates, patent sharks and the (almost) global settlement of the Lipitor patent dispute.

As always, the week ended with IP Think Tank's Global Week in Review - a look at the major intellectual property stories breaking on the internet and blogosphere for the week.

Please do come and join the ongoing conversation, either here at Gathering2.com or at IPThinkTank.

Is Lipitor driving Pfizer and Sankyo's Ranbaxy bidding? looked at rumours about Pfizer also making a bid for Ranbaxy and was followed up with some interesting discussion points;

Patent expiriy dates - how hard can it be? was a continuation of a (polite) rant about lack of patent expiry dates on the documents themselves;

Patent Sharks (Trolls?) - insightful or missing the point? looked at a recent Harvard Business Review article and commented on some of the assertions of the authors;

Stop press - Pfizer and Ranbaxy Settle Lipitor dispute (mostly) Worldwide briefly commented on this nearly global settlement and pointed readers to our Lipitor scorecard which shows progress of the dispute in all 23 countries.
